About Summit Residential
Summit Residential is led by cousins Nathan Simon and Ben Simon, two builders who share a lifelong connection, a commitment to craftsmanship, and a desire to serve Mid-Michigan families with integrity and excellence.
Nathan has spent more than a decade in the construction industry, most notably as the founder of Lathan Builders, a company he launched and successfully grew through a reputation for quality work, clear communication, and dependable project management. After building a strong client base in Michigan, Nathan moved to Arizona for a season, where he continued to gain experience and refine his skills in new environments and building styles. While he enjoyed the opportunities and lifestyle Arizona offered, he eventually felt the pull to return home to be closer to family. That decision brought him back to Mid-Michigan with a renewed passion for building, serving, and investing in the community that shaped him.
Ben brings five-plus years of hands-on carpentry and construction experience, working on everything from custom framing to interior renovations. He’s known for his attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to create well-crafted spaces that are both beautiful and functional. His practical expertise complements Nathan’s leadership, giving Summit Residential a balanced team that can handle projects of any scale.
